Job Title: Mechanical Design Specialist

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced mechanical design specialist to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective designs for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and other process equipment in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues, ensure timely project delivery, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Leverage expertise in software tools such as DISASU, PVElite, COMPRESS, and AMETANK to create accurate designs and specifications.
  • Evaluate and select materials based on process requirements, ensuring compliance with national and international codes and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working with FEED and EPC/EPCM activities, including preparation of material requisitions, technical specifications, and design documents.
  • Familiarity with European codes for process and storage equipment and working knowledge of wind and seismic analysis using various national and international codes, standards, and case studies.
  • Expertise in NDT requirements, code stamping, and WPS/PQR procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in disciplines such as ASME, API, or International Codes/Standards.
  • Experience in fabrication industry or PMC projects.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as ANSYS, Nozzle Pro, or other FEA tools.
