Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior mechanical engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for process packages, skids, engineered solutions, and modular plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and obtain work from a multidiscipline team to deliver project engineering documents.
  • Review P&ID, isometric drawings, GAD & alignment drawings.
  • Prepare and review mechanical design basis, MDS, MRs, design reports, GAs, fab drawings, interfacing design, loading data, lifting arrangement, transportation arrangement, etc.
  • Closely collaborate with design and project teams to obtain required inputs, resolve issues, and execute the project.
  • Develop engineering practices and standards to ensure standardization.
  • Follow the drawing/model review process established in the team.
  • Take full accountability of own design drawings/models.
  • Generate equipment fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
  • Plan own work in line with the overall project schedule with manager.
  • Support bid management with 3D layouts, general arrangement drawings, weight estimations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiar with NFPA codes (14, 20, 16, 15).
  • Experience in fire fighting piping and skid system design (foam skid, deluge skids, bladder tank systems, chemical injection packages) is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with international design codes and dimensional standards (ANSI/ASME, API, BS, ASTM).
  • Hands-on experience on ASME vessel, stress analysis.
  • Experience of working in projects for clients like ARAMCO, SABIC, ADNOC, IOCL, HPCL.
  • Well-versed in designing pipe layouts for projects in the oil and gas industry using international codes and standards.
  • Knowledge in product-structure, design, calculations, and specifications, assessing its impact on costs related to engineering and manufacturing.
