Procurement Expert

  • End-to-End Sourcing Projects Management: Lead and manage end-to-end sourcing projects (technology & non-technology) to deliver value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, develop RFPs/RFXs, and negotiate with suppliers effectively.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to controls, audits, and regulatory obligations throughout the sourcing cycle.
  • Contract Remediation: Manage contract remediation including Data Privacy, OCIR, Data Transfer Agreements, and country-specific terms for optimal results.
  • Negotiation and Supplier Oversight: Negotiate and oversee third-party Supplier Control Obligations (SCOs) while supporting stakeholders on vendor engagement risks.
  • Process Improvement Opportunities: Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and sourcing best practices to enhance category management and strategic sourcing capabilities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Key Expertise: Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance is required.
  • Contract Review: Proven experience in contractual review and redlining is essential.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions are necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills are crucial.
  • Leadership Qualities: Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness are vital.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background: Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Experience: Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Industry Frameworks: Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices is beneficial.
