Oracle HCM Functional Consultant

This is a highly skilled role that requires expertise in leading the implementation and project management of HR technology initiatives.

  • This position involves overseeing the end-to-end deployment/updating/customization and integration of Oracle HCM all modules globally.

The successful candidate will drive digital adoption firm-wide by managing a team of consultants and working closely with business stakeholders, technology support team, implementation partners to ensure the successful configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of Oracle HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end Oracle HCM implementation/updating/modification process for all the Oracle HCM modules
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with SuccessFactors vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure the success of the implementation and resolve any technical or business-related issues. Act as the primary liaison between business units (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) and the implementation team.
  • System Configuration & Customization: Oversee the configuration and customization of Oracle HCM modules where needed, according to business needs and best practices.
  • Training, Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and deliver training materials and user guides. Plan for pilots, testing, provide end-user training and support for HR professionals and other business users to ensure smooth adoption of the system.
  • Change Management and Digital Adoption: Support organizational change management activities on tech adoption of HR and internal communication products, including communication, training, and end-user engagement to ensure the successful adoption of technology solutions, both to HR teams and wider global workforce.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tech products post-implementation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Oracle HCM certifications) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Overall 12 to 15+ years of experience with experience in implementing HR Systems / Support Oracle HCM or other HRMS platforms
    • Proven track record of managing end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations (across multiple modules)
    • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a deep understanding of HR technology solutions and shared services function
    • Experience in setting up HR analytics and insights function
