Procurement Specialist Role


As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and executing purchasing activities to maintain stock levels. Your expertise in IT hardware and software procurement will enable you to identify opportunities for cost innovation and explore new product lines.


To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders including accounts departments and vendors. You will also need to develop and manage relationships with new vendors, ensuring seamless payment terms and tax compliance.


Additionally, you will be responsible for managing all purchase functions, including direct and indirect materials, and maintaining accurate records of purchase department activities. If you have a keen eye for detail and are able to think strategically, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute purchasing activities to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with accounts departments to ensure timely payments and accurate billing.
  • Manage all aspects of procurement, including direct and indirect materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase department activities.
