Senior Manager

Job Description:

  • Lead clinical reporting projects, overseeing timely and quality delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end clinical reporting solutions using R, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Design and manage Shiny dashboards, internal tools, and reusable functions/packages.
  • Oversee SAS-to-R migration, translating legacy code with accurate validation.
  • Define and maintain standardized R programming frameworks.
  • Automate and optimize existing processes and applications.
  • Ensure quality control, test coverage, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Guide Agile execution, client communications, and technical direction.
  • Support model lifecycle activities including deployment, version control, and monitoring.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation across deliverables.
  • Mentor, guide, and drive team members for growth and development.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, other departments, and groups.
  • Act as the customer key contact and responsible for project deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in statistics, computing, life sciences or related field.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in technical roles and responsibilities.

Skills Set:

  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and client communication abilities.
  • Effective in project management, task prioritization, and leading Agile teams (e.g., Jira, sprints, retrospectives).
  • Collaborative approach across functions including statisticians, data managers, and developers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open to new learnings and sharing with team members.
  • Excellent communication skills [written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills].
  • Proficient in using SAS EG/Studio for programming.
  • Familiar with Unix environment and programming.
  • Familiarity with multiple statistical procedures and functions to create TFLs.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of junior programmers.
