Job Description:

This role involves leading the effort in developing and implementing strategies for field instrumentation equipment, focusing on enhancing asset reliability by creating and assigning suitable equipment maintenance plans. As the primary point of contact, you will oversee strategy assignment, collaborate with team members, and ensure project success.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Conduct engineering activities covering key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategies for instrumentation, such as transmitters, control valves, flow meters, and analyzers.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management principles.
  • Understand preventive, predictive, condition monitoring tasks related to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled in instrument maintenance techniques, including knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.
