This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Min Experience 10 years Location Vadodara JobType full-time We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer with 10-12 years of proven expertise in managing and executing engineering and design activities for process plants across the Oil Gas Power and Mining sectors The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership project execution capabilities and a deep understanding of international codes and standards Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical instrumentation and control engineering scope across multiple projects Review project specifications client requirements and scope documents to ensure alignment and compliance for E I systems Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical standards and comply with applicable international codes and project specifications Develop and review engineering documentation such as datasheets bills of materials BOM technical specifications and instrument equipment lists Collaborate with drafting teams to create detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings including Single-line diagrams Loop and logic diagrams Termination and schematic drawings Mentor and guide junior engineers supporting their technical development and ability to manage projects independently Execute LV system design including MCCs VFDs cable sizing tray loading lighting systems and lightning protection Plan and prepare cable routing and layout designs for cost-effective installation Coordinate with 3D design teams to ensure integration of cable trays and equipment in 3D project models Perform 3D model reviews e g using Navisworks to verify correct placement and accessibility of E I elements including trays junction boxes motors and instruments Demonstrate sound knowledge of hazardous area classification and installation practices Apply relevant international codes and standards such as IEC NEC NEMA and AS NZS in design and review processes Possess thorough understanding of project life cycles and engineering workflows from concept to delivery Skills Expertise Electrical Instrumentation Design Instrumentation Engineering LV System Design MCCs VFDs Cable Routing Tray Layouts Instrument Indexing Datasheets E I Systems Engineering International Standards IEC NEC NEMA AS NZS Hazardous Area Installations 3D Modeling Navisworks Review Technical Mentorship Project Leadership
