Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - Design & Engineering

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review and Scope Definition: Review contract documents and seek necessary clarifications to ensure accurate scope definition.
  • Project Meetings and Coordination: Participate in internal kick-off meetings with the sales/proposal team and attend external kick-off meetings with clients and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Design Documentation and Engineering: Prepare E&I datasheets, bill of materials, IO lists, and electrical load lists as per tender requirements, select power, instrument, and control cables according to project specifications, develop cable schedules, cable tray layouts, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams for panels, and create and maintain a comprehensive E&I library for future reference.
  • Vendor and Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and review vendor drawings for electrical and instrumentation items, prepare inquiries and assist in procurement of E&I items, and finalize orders for PLC panels, SCADA systems, MCC panels, instruments, cables, cable trays, and other electrical components.
Education Qualifications:
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation or related discipline is required.
