
Senior Human Resource Executive

This role is responsible for the effective execution of human resources activities across all processes, ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Responsibilities:- Support the business by delivering end-to-end services, solutions, and interventions across all HR processes.
- Coordinate and execute interventions in line with the Centre of Excellence (COE) plan.
- Implement employee engagement processes to enhance employee experience throughout their life cycle.
- Provide guidance and support to line managers on personnel matters, ensuring high levels of ownership on talent engagement, retention, and development agendas.
- Facilitate plant-level coordination for recruitment with the talent acquisition team.
- Coordinate, execute, and provide support for various learning and development interventions.
- Manage and maintain requisite training records.
- Develop and implement wage and salary programs to align with business strategy and external competitive concerns.
- Manage labour relations with plant management and Corporate HR, including negotiation with worker unions and contractors.
- Ensure seamless bipartite wage settlements.
- Minimize man-day loss due to IR issues.
- Manage the employee grievance process and consult with plants on union issues as needed.
- Serve as the plant expert on union issues as required.
- Manage payroll for employees at the plant level, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, including management of employee-related insurance schemes.
- Ensure statutory compliances at the plant level are aligned with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Manage contractual labour and third-party employees, tracking attendance and supervising compliances.
- Liaise with government agencies.
- Manage employee databases, including personnel files.
- Monitor HR and administration-related law changes and respond accordingly.
- Ensure HR and admin contracts are in place and renewed timely.
- Implement relevant safety processes and systems, adhering to Serious 7 and Take 5 principles.
- Cultivate a safety culture throughout the organization's hierarchy.
- Achieve a vision of zero harm at each location.
- Manage plant administration, including security, canteen, transportation, guest house, and other facilities.
- Drive corporate social responsibility initiatives at the plant level, aligned with the corporate strategy.
- Share metrics with HR Operations, Training, etc., regarding process efficiency, effectiveness, and costs.
- Essential:
- MBA/PGD in Human Resources; MPMIR, MSW.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in handling generalist HR and IR activities for a manufacturing site.
- Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
- Effective communication skills, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- High motivation, results-oriented, and driven.
- Good negotiation skills, with experience dealing with unions independently or under guidance.
- Experience in the related field, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS-Office.
- Understanding of labour laws and regulations.
- Exposure to liaison activities with government bodies.
- Ability to converse in local language (Odisha).
