Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing Microsoft Azure cloud services, including infrastructure, security, networking, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups (NSGs), and routing configurations.
  • Service Management: Manage and maintain Azure services, such as Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
  • Identity and Access Management: Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, including role-based access control (RBAC) and conditional access policies to enforce the principle of least privilege.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Resource Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless computing instances.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity, including backup and restore procedures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to integrate Azure services into applications and services.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and services, and provide recommendations for improving cloud security and efficiency.
