Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

This is a full-time, fully remote role for an experienced cloud engineer at a leading tech company. You'll work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a global team of engineers, developers, and strategists who are building scalable digital infrastructures that optimize performance and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining cloud environments using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Automating deployments, scaling, and infrastructure monitoring to ensure high availability and cost optimization.
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud redundancy to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices across cloud services to protect against cyber threats.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a cloud engineer or DevOps engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Skilled in Linux administration, networking, and security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) and agile project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
