Job Title: Facilities Operations ManagerMaintenance operations for large dairy, food, or pharma plants require skilled professionals who can oversee maintenance and utilities management. As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of plant facilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 100 people to manage day-to-day maintenance activities
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation)
  • Professional Certifications: Energy Manager, Boiler Engineer, TPM Facilitator, Six Sigma would be an added advantage
  • 10 Years of experience in maintenance & utilities management in a similar industry
Nature of Experience:
  • Maintenance of milk processing equipment like Pasteurisers, Separators, Bactofuge, Vacuum Pumps, DSI, High Pressure Pumps, Blowers, Fluid Bed, Sifter, Cheddar Master, Cooker etc
  • Utilities Equipment like Boiler & Steam Network, Ammonia & Freon Based Refrigeration System, Compressed Air & Nitrogen Generation System, VAM, RO & UF, Sand & Carbon Filters, Pumps, DG Sets, Transformers etc
  • Advanced Maintenance Practices like RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Electronics Equipment Monitoring Tools & Tackles
  • Preparing and monitoring maintenance budget, setting and improving energy standards, identifying and executing cost and energy saving ideas
  • Executing and achieving plant KPIs like productivity, losses and complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement
  • People Management: Managing a team of 100 people, identifying training needs of the maintenance team, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture
  • Analytical thought process to bring new concepts in maintenance practices, energy management, setting new standards
  • Liaisoning with government agencies like factory, boiler and electrical inspector, MSEB, local administration
  • Experience in capex, project execution, knowledge of AI & ML application, EMS would be an added advantage
