Civil Engineer Role Overview

As a civil engineer, you will create engineering plans for land development based on your calculations and research. Experience with AutoCAD and strong design skills are required to create visual aids.

The ideal candidate will utilize their organizational and communication skills to execute projects based on specified criteria. This involves working closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs, preparing bills of quantity, estimates, and tender documents.

You will also be responsible for checking work onsite according to drawings, monitoring site progress physically and financially, and ensuring the quality of materials and workmanship.

In addition, you will provide daily reports, communicate with clients and site engineers, and cross-check drawings with architecture and other technical aspects. Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and English language.">
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.">
  • Relevant degree (Diploma or BTech) and 1-5 years of experience in a civil-related company.">
