Job Title: Structural Design Engineer-Oil

The Position:

  • Structural Designer
  • Years of Experience: between 5-25 years

Position Purpose:

  • Execute fundamental & detail design engineering tasks for assigned projects in Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Plants, adhering to established company procedures.
  • Prepare/review PFDs, PIDs, project-specific specs, design calculations/analyses, procurement specifications.
  • Interface with other disciplines, user departments, and clients.
  • Engage in estimation/engineering work related to bids.

Responsibilities:

  • Education - Bachelor/Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Conversant with StaadPro & SAP software.
    • Familiarity with FEM-based connection design tools like Ideastatica.
    • Proficient in Auto Cad and Other 3D Tools like Tekla Structure, Navisworks, SPR etc.
    • Jacket and Topside Pre-Service Analysis
    • Jacket Impact Analysis
    • Jacket and Topside Fatigue Analysis
    • Pile Drivability Analysis
    • Load Calculations and Loading Sketches Preparation
    • Basic Knowledge of Industrial Architecture, PHE, and Roadways
    • Hands-on experience and knowledge of structural steel/reinforced concrete design/detailing of Process/non-process buildings Machine foundations Pipe rack Factory Buildings etc.
    • Experience in international codes & standards is preferable.
