Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Managed Services Professional to join our team. As a seasoned engineer, you will be responsible for providing proactive managed services to clients by identifying and resolving complex incidents and problems.

Your primary objective will be to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and manage tickets of high complexity. You will also conduct advanced tasks, provide resolution to complex problems, and coach junior team members.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Packaged Application technologies such as ERP, Middleware and other business critical software are configured, installed, tested, and operational.
  • Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts.
  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
  • Assist in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls.
  • Investigate third line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems.
  • Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary.
  • Provide onsite technical support to clients and field engineering services.
  • Conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests, analyze and recommend improvements in quality.
  • Provide continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update systems and/or portals as prescribed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization including automation of work.

Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing.
  • Certifications relevant to the services provided.
  • Relevant certifications include SAP Certified Technology Associate - OS DB Migration for SAP NetWeaver 7.4, SAP Technology Consultant, SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 2.0, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server Network.
