This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Securities Research Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Sponsor Group with leveraged transactions and aligned activities across diverse industries.

About this role:

">

You will work closely alongside teams to execute new transactions, providing support in editing and publishing functions within the Global Research and Economics Group. Your responsibilities will include generating research packet products, posting research documents to market data vendors, updating and maintaining mailing lists, and providing client access to websites.

Your Key Responsibilities:

">

  • ">
  • Assign reports to Editors and Supervisory Analysts to ensure efficient use of resources">
  • Maintain databases">
  • Receive direction from leaders">
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements">
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals">
  • Assist onshore team in preparation of underwriting materials through analysis of business/operations, historical financials, industry data, relative value etc">
  • Work with US team members to build detailed financial models to assist senior bankers in diligence related to complex credit transactions">
  • Prepare company/sector profile reports, comprising borrower business model/future strategy, industry developments, and impact of macro-economic events on the overall market for the portfolio of covered client set across industries">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

  • ">
  • 2+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education">
  • Outstanding academic qualifications – CA or MBA/MSc Finance from a premier educational institution">
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts">
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools">
  • Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Thomson one, Capital IQ and Bloomberg">
