Network Specialist Position

We seek an experienced Network Specialist to work with product teams and vendors to develop tailored network solutions for clients. This role requires the ability to create effective presentations, as well as a strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in creating engaging presentations, and technical expertise in network solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate RFP/RFI processes and develop bespoke network solutions in collaboration with Product teams/vendors.
  • Manage Third-Party Provider oversight for solution components, including Bill of Material creation.
  • Assess client business requirements and translate them into formal network solution specifications.
  • Develop compelling network strategies for current, intermediate, and future operational modes.
  • Design and develop end-to-end network solutions to meet agreed-upon network requirements.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with customers to gather information on proposal/information requests.
  • Successfully defend proposed techno-commercial network solutions during the pre-sales process.
  • Prepare proposal documents, including proposals, pricing sheets, solution presentations, and contractual agreements.
  • Position new data technologies/products in relevant network solutions.
  • Defend end-to-end network solutions to customers/internal stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • DC-LAN (Tiered designs, Leaf/Spine, VXLAN, DCI, SDN-ACI/NSX) knowledge.
  • WAN (SDWAN- Viptela/VeloCloud /Versa/Aruba) knowledge.
  • Campus LAN, Wireless, WLAN, Routing Protocols-BGP/OSPF knowledge.
  • Switching/Tunneling communication (i.e., IPsec/VXLAN/GRE) knowledge.
  • Load Balancer -F5 knowledge.
  • Network Knowledge of Automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform.
  • Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BOM/BOQ creation experience.
