Cloud Network Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect cloud network infrastructure, including physical and SDN frameworks.
  • Maintain high availability, flexibility, and network performance while ensuring service-level agreements are met.
  • Audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Lead a team of Network Engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance and capacity metrics to assess risks and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements:

This role requires 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. We're looking for someone with proven experience and hands-on technical expertise, as well as the ability to provide mentorship and ensure compliance with business SLAs and goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless systems.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies (WAN technologies, routing protocols), Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q) and QoS.
  • Familiarity with Network monitoring Protocols & Tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG etc.) and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
