Job Description

This role focuses on cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments, architecting, deploying, and optimizing Azure-based solutions, leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies, developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices, implementing and managing containerized workloads using AKS and EKS, establishing and enforcing cloud security standards and best practices across environments, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and optimizing cloud resource usage and implementing cost management strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS.
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations).
  • A self-driven work ethic with the ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
