Financial Analyst Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as a Financial Analyst.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • This role involves uploading insurance-related journals into our system on a monthly basis.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the migration of opening balances into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Assisting in developing reconciliation processes to improve reporting and controls is also a key responsibility.
  • Creating process flow maps for transition from our current to future state is an important aspect of this role.
  • Providing analytical support for controls and custom validations in our ERP system is a critical function.
  • This role may also involve handling ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A university degree in accounting or finance is required for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas, are essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with ERP/finance systems, preferably Workday, is highly desirable.
  • Good communication skills and strong analytical ability are critical for success in this role.
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting is an added advantage.
