As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be working closely with our business strategy team to drive sales growth through data-driven insights.

The role involves analyzing sales data, including historical performance, trends, and market insights, to identify opportunities and challenges. You will work with the sales team to develop sales targets and strategies based on data analysis, and create meaningful reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize and communicate sales performance metrics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with management and the business strategy team to model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for company-wide initiatives.
  • Leading strategic partnerships and other initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Crunching, mining, and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize and communicate sales performance metrics.
  • Developing sales targets and strategies based on data analysis.
  • Preparing and monitoring funnels performance weekly for the sales team.
  • Working with business teams to monitor potential opportunities.
  • Tracking performance (target vs. achievement) of business team product-wise and presenting to management.
  • Ensuring the CRM system is utilized effectively for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Providing access to CRM tools for the business team and resolving any issues they may face.
  • Providing sales data to sales representatives, generating reports, and supporting them as needed.
  • Acting as a liaison between the sales team and other departments.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, sales, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in a sales or marketing context.
  • Proficiency in data crunching and analysis, such as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Prior experience with CRM systems is a plus.
