As a PhD Peer Reviewer in Environmental Science, you will be responsible for evaluating manuscripts and providing constructive feedback to authors. This is a part-time opportunity that allows for remote work, offering flexibility for researchers looking to supplement their income or transition into retirement.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the novelty of the manuscript and its contribution to the field of Environmental Science.
  • Analyse the study design and methodology to ensure reproducibility, thoroughness, and up-to-dated literature reviews.
  • Determine whether results are presented clearly and appropriately, taking into account any limitations or biases.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback to authors, highlighting areas of improvement and suggesting revisions.
  • Make informed publication decisions based on your evaluation, considering the manuscript's overall quality and relevance.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently, managing your time effectively and adhering to deadlines. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity will be essential in providing high-quality feedback to authors.

We are seeking researchers with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science or equivalent advanced degrees who possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent written communication skills. Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable, but not required.
