Business Valuation Opportunity

The Business Valuation Group provides specialized business valuations and expert testimony in commercial and matrimonial disputes. Our team of professionals extracts data from financial statements, tax returns, and bank statements to identify trends and anomalies.

We are seeking a seasoned Business Valuation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract and map data from financial statements, tax returns, and bank statements into valuation models
  • Conduct research on industry trends, guideline public companies, and precedent transactions
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements to identify trends and anomalies
  • Identify and implement normalization adjustments to financial statements
  • Assist in building and refining valuation models, performing adjustments, and applying quantitative techniques to support business valuation conclusions
  • Prioritize projects and participate in scheduling meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • A business valuation credential (CFA), CA, MBA, or other advanced degree or certification
  • Minimum four years of experience in accounting or finance
