Job Description:

You will join a team of professionals working closely with senior investment managers to provide valuation and monitoring services for portfolio investments. The role involves various aspects of valuation, including initiating/maintaining financial models and preparing valuation memos across sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Performing in-depth analysis on a range of (illiquid) investments across diverse industries.
  • Preparing and updating detailed valuation models, memos, and presentations.
  • Independently gathering relevant data pertinent to the investments/models.
  • Addressing client queries in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prioritizing and executing multiple assignments, including ad-hoc projects, within tight deadlines.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Sound experience in valuation and financial modeling (discounted cash flows, market multiples, market transactions).
  • Exposure to US/European primary and secondary markets.
  • Strong Excel modeling and analytical skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a professional demeanor.
Advantageous Skills:
  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros.
  • Sector knowledge - Real Estate, Shipping, Aircraft, and Oil & Gas.
Academic Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputable institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics & CFA (Level II completed).
