Job Description:

As a seasoned data automation professional, we seek an accomplished Test Automation Engineer to spearhead the development of automated scripts in Python. The successful candidate will create a golden model within SQL Server for seamless test automation integration.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising data engineers, QA analysts, and DevOps specialists to deliver high-quality data assets within a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy automated scripts in Python to establish a robust golden model within SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand complex data requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data.
  • Contribute to the evolution of test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an exceptional individual with the following skillset:

  • Strong experience in Test Automation, particularly with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, preferably with expertise in YData-Synthetic / SDV (Synthetic Data Vault) / Gretel-Synthetics / SynthCity / DoppelGANger.
  • Hands-on experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mandatory experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Nice to have experience with MS SQL Server.
