Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned SCADA/ADMS engineer to support the design, implementation, and lifecycle support of Distribution Automation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with configuration, workflows, GIS integration, and utility operational processes.

  • The successful candidate will configure, test, and deploy modules for SCADA/DMS platforms, including customization of business logic, alarms, telemetry points, and control actions.
  • They will develop scripts to automate data processing and system operations, as well as integrate systems with GIS, AMI, OMS, and enterprise systems.
  • Additional responsibilities include implementing and supporting FLISR, Volt/VAR Optimization, Load Forecasting, and Switching Plans, as well as providing user training, documentation, and L2/L3 support to operators.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve real-time operational issues on SCADA/DMS platforms.
  • Experience working in a team environment, collaborating with support teams, clients, and internal developers is also required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SCADA/ADMS engineering within the electric utility sector.
  • Hands-on experience with GE PowerOn configurations and integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in SCADA protocols and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and distribution network modeling.
  • Exposure to GIS-to-ADMS mapping and understanding of distribution system operations and control center processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
