Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to IFRS and Indian accounting standards while integrating updates into financial operations.
  • Oversee meticulous general ledger activities, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Prepare insightful financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Strengthen internal controls, processes, and policies to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with Indian standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and advisors to ensure smooth audits and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
  • Drive process improvements, cost savings, and support new business initiatives.
  • Identify and report problems or unusual situations to the Finance Lead and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Review necessary documentation for international transfers in accordance with governmental regulations or auditing purposes.
  • Prepare and review direct and indirect tax filings, ensuring statutory timelines and uploading relevant documentation on company portals.
  • Ensure retail store compliance with shops and establishment, trade license, music license, etc.
  • Timely submit global reporting like Sox filings and recurring reports.
  • Manage risk by identifying and assessing financial risks and implementing measures to minimize their impact.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), tax regulations, and other relevant laws.
