The Service Technician will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of technical services to meet the needs of our clients. This will involve providing advanced knowledge and experience in solving technology issues, hardware, software, networking, and support expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related support service field, with a strong working knowledge of accounting applications such as CCH Engagement, Thomson GoSystem Tax, XCM, TaxCaddy, and SurePrep. Experience supporting end-users in a Microsoft environment is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and dedicated to continual personal and professional improvement. They will have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and video conferencing and audio-visual hardware. Additionally, they will be able to analyze and verify statistical information within the ITSM tool to ensure report accuracy and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in overseeing service staff activities and services
  • Providing training and assistance to other Service Technicians in solving complex problems and inquiries
  • Refering problems and inquiries to more experienced technical staff or leadership when necessary
  • Conducting basic through advanced training for Team Members as needed
  • Analyzing and verifying statistical information within the ITSM tool to ensure report accuracy and data integrity
