Cloud Data Engineer Job Description

     Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and build robust data lakes.

     Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Scalable ETL Pipelines: You will use cloud-native tools such as AWS DMS, AWS Glue, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, and GCP Dataflow to create efficient ETL processes.
  • Architect and Implement Data Lakes: You will design and implement data lakes and data warehouses on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop and Optimize Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Loading Processes: You will use Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Azure Synapse to develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Implement ETL Processes: You will use tools like Informatica, SAP Data Intelligence to implement ETL processes.
  • Develop and Optimize Data Processing Jobs: You will use Spark Scala to develop and optimize data processing jobs.

     Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines and building robust data lakes.
  • Expertise in cloud-native tools such as AWS DMS, AWS Glue, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, and GCP Dataflow.
  • Strong knowledge of data lakes and data warehouses on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes using Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Azure Synapse.
  • Experience in implementing ETL processes using tools like Informatica, SAP Data Intelligence.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing data processing jobs using Spark Scala.
