Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic-minded Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team as the guardian of our financial integrity. The ideal candidate will champion our internal accrual-based expansion model, cultivate a world-class finance and secretarial function, and drive business growth through sound financial planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Capital Management: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, manage capital resources effectively, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Robust Internal Controls & Unwavering Compliance: Design and maintain effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of ethics and governance.
  • Corporate Secretarial & Regulatory Governance: Provide expert guidance on corporate secretarial matters, ensure timely compliance with regulatory filings, and maintain accurate records.
  • Accurate Accounting & Transparent Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, ensure accuracy and transparency in financial statements, and provide timely insights to stakeholders.
  • Prudent Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flows effectively, optimize working capital, and ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Proactive & Compliant Taxation Strategy: Develop and implement compliant tax strategies, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
  • Insightful Audit, Cost Management & Expense Control: Conduct thorough audits, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement expense control measures to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborative Business Partnering & Team Development: Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, promote a culture of excellence, and develop high-performing teams.
  • External Representation & Governance: Represent the organization externally, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to the development of governance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is mandatory: Ensure that all candidates possess the required CA designation.
  • Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in finance: Require at least 20 years of experience in finance, with increasing responsibility and expertise.
  • Crucial experience in managing corporate secretarial functions for a listed entity: Expect candidates to have extensive experience in managing corporate secretarial functions for a listed entity.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully managing significant capital projects funded exclusively through internal accruals: Evaluate candidates based on their ability to manage capital projects using internal accruals.
  • Proven expertise in designing and executing comprehensive internal audit programs: Assess candidates' skills in designing and executing internal audit programs.

Preferred Experience:

  • Significant experience managing financial operations for global subsidiaries: Welcome candidates with experience managing financial operations across multiple global subsidiaries.
