Oracle HCM Benefits Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of an Oracle HCM Benefits Consultant.

This position requires 5-7 years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits and proficiency in technical skills such as Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher reports.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working on complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The selected candidate will work closely with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance, manage Oracle SRs, and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain Benefits plans, programs, rates, and eligibility profiles
  • Support Open Enrollment and Life Event processing
  • Develop and troubleshoot Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL data loads
  • Build and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance
  • Manage Oracle SRs and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution
  • Conduct functional and regression testing during upgrades and deployments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 3 in Benefits
  • Understanding of Benefits setup, eligibility rules, and enrollment flows
  • Proficiency in building/modifying Extracts, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, and Fast Formulas
  • Experience with HCM Extracts and third-party integrations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or Agile practices
