
Senior Commercial Director

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive business growth through strategic planning, procurement management, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure profitability.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, cost controls, and margin optimization.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Lead procurement functions including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor development to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Establish procurement policies, monitor contract compliance, and control costs to minimize risks.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure business continuity.
Contract & Risk Management:
- Negotiate and manage large contracts with customers, vendors, and partners to ensure mutual benefits.
- Identify and manage commercial risks, including legal and compliance issues, to minimize exposure.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to commercial terms and conditions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with finance, operations, legal, and supply chain teams to enable smooth execution of contracts and commercial deals.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support business development and market expansion.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track commercial KPIs, including revenue, cost-to-serve, contract performance, and customer profitability.
- Provide regular reports and strategic inputs to senior leadership and board members.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 12–20 years of experience in commercial operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, logistics, EPC, infrastructure, or FMCG preferred.
Skills:
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Understanding of contract law and risk management.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools.
