Lead Accessibility Specialist

We are seeking a Lead Accessibility Specialist to join our team.
This role will involve overseeing the end-to-end quality assurance of a large product portfolio, including managing the backlog of testing requests and collaborating with stakeholders in Design, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure accessibility is considered throughout the product development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be a thought leader in accessibility testing, making recommendations and influencing testing decisions based on data. They will also mentor accessibility testers and create training plans for the testing team.
About You:
To be a fit for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of testing experience in software development, web development, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in an accessibility-related field.
- Understanding of WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines.
- Expert-level understanding of assistive technologies and accessibility-related software, including JAWS and NVDA, and automated testing tools.
- Demonstrated success facilitating testing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success creating test plans and scripts.
- Ability to influence and define process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interfacing with high-level stakeholders.
