Technical Support Specialist Position

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical support to our channel partners and end users. This role involves delivering high-quality technical assistance through various mediums, including email, telephone, and on-site visits.

Your primary tasks will be to support, train, and develop our users and partners in India. You will handle technical support through email, telephone or on-site visits at user premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to channel partners via email, phone or on-site visits.
  • Robotic Application Support: Offer consultation services to channel partners and the Dobot sales team.
  • Training Development: Create/translate technical training curriculums and conduct training courses for channel partners and workshops for end users.
  • Partner/User Development: Enhance knowledge and competencies of channel partners and users in Dobot robots and applications.
  • Documentation: Prepare/translate technical documentation.
  • Customer Visits: Participate in customer visits.
  • Trade Shows: Participate in trade shows and seminars, and develop applications for these events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering-related subject.
  • Minimum three years' experience in robotics or automation industry.
  • Experience in designing and integrating robotic applications.
  • Experience in conducting seminars and trainings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosing skills.
  • Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages like C++/Java/Python/Lua (a plus).
