Job Description:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the technology roadmap, providing visionary leadership to the engineering team.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Uphold and enhance engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to engineering projects, ensuring potential challenges are addressed proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, design, and other key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Resource Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage engineering budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for project success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior engineering leader with a track record of successfully managing and scaling engineering teams.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated experience in driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
