Job Title:

Citrix Systems Administrator

As a Citrix Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the design and architecture of Citrix solutions including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler. Your expertise will cover high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical designs covering key aspects such as high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance for Citrix infrastructure.
  • Ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance for Citrix environment performance and uptime.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops and Hypervisors (XenServer).
  • Optimize performance and stability of Citrix infrastructure.
  • Manage Citrix ADC, Gateway, SD-WAN, Web App Firewall, and Application Delivery Management.
  • Perform upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Align all Citrix administration activities with ITIL best practices.
  • Handle escalations, change controls, incident and problem resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Monitor incident/problem trends and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Citrix technologies including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler.
  • Experience in designing and implementing high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide expert technical leadership and guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
