Job Title: IT Administrator

We are seeking an experienced professional to administer our IT systems. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our networks and servers.

You will upgrade, install and configure new hardware and software to meet organizational objectives, implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats, and create user accounts and perform access control.

You will also perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems, document processes, back up and archive data, develop data retrieval and recovery procedures, design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems, supervise and mentor IT department employees, and provide technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain networks and servers
  • Upgrade, install and configure new hardware and software
  • Implement security protocols and procedures
  • Create user accounts and perform access control
  • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures
  • Document processes and back up and archive data
  • Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures

  • Supervise and mentor IT department employees
  • Provide technical support

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar field. Additionally, applicable professional qualifications such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification are required. A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role is necessary, along with extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.

A strong understanding of best practices in IT administration and system security, exceptional leadership and organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position.
