Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products through effective testing strategies and techniques.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans to ensure thorough coverage of software features and functionality.
  • Identify and report defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct automated testing using various tools and scripting languages to streamline the testing process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with business objectives and deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Maintain accurate test results, defect logs, and analysis reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience in Testing or QA, with at least 2 years in a Test Lead role.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality products.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).
  • Experience with security, usability testing.
  • Familiarity with process control and automation systems.
  • Strong background in Agile Scrum Methodologies.
