Job Title:
User Interface Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to fill the role of User Interface Quality Assurance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing the user interface of software applications to ensure they meet design specifications, provide a seamless user experience, and are intuitive to use across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test UI Functionality: Execute manual and automated tests to verify that the user interface functions as intended.
  • Validate Design Specifications: Ensure UI elements adhere to design mockups, wireframes, and style guides.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Test applications on various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Identify and Report Bugs: Log defects with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos.
  • Usability Testing: Evaluate the user interface for ease of use, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Automation (if applicable): Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or TestComplete.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with designers, developers, and product managers to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and reports to document testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI testing, quality assurance, or a related role
  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with UI testing tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other front-end technologies.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools.
