Quality Assurance Specialist

This is an exciting role for a Quality Assurance professional who wants to ensure software applications work smoothly. You will be working on restaurant and food-tech systems, including POS machines, digital kiosks, mobile apps, and integrations with payment or delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Clearly understand requirements and raise questions if anything is unclear.
  2. Keep track of queries and updates to ensure the team always has clarity.
  3. Create test cases and scenarios to cover all possible situations.
  4. Prepare and manage test data, including POS setups, menu items, kiosk flows, and integrations.
  5. Perform manual and automation testing – including system, integration, and regression testing.
  6. Test APIs, POS systems, kiosks, and menu modules.
  7. Report bugs, track them, and follow through until resolved.
  8. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure everything meets the acceptance criteria.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
  2. Hands-on testing experience with POS systems, menus, kiosks, loyalty/payment/delivery integrations.
  3. Strong knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS/Android).
  4. API testing experience (Postman, SOAP UI or similar).
  5. Automation testing (Selenium-Java or similar tools).
  6. Familiarity with QA tools like JIRA, Zephyr, QC, TestLink.
  7. Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
  8. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  9. ISTQB certification is highly desirable.
