Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Develop business development strategy plans for commercial moving businesses, considering customer categories and market conditions.
Formulate 'Go-To-Market' and 'Operations Models' for industrial packing and projects business.
Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
Generate new business relationships and negotiate revenue opportunities with prospective clients.
Responsible for achieving revenue targets and maintaining the required Gross Profit margin.
Project Planning & Operational Support:
Liaise with operations teams to ensure adherence to business plans for commercial moves.
Provide market feedback to leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and product development ideas.
Identify and map 'Game Changer' accounts, prepare account plans for them, and engage in long-term partnerships.
Operationalize vendor strategy and vendor management processes for commercial moving businesses, including SLAs and vendor performance monitoring mechanisms.
Key Account Management:
Handle customer grievances in critical situations and ensure timely resolutions.
Resolve customer complaints within minimum turnaround time by identifying and removing areas of obstruction.
Build, sustain, and leverage long-term relationships with key clients.
Manage customer escalations according to the company's escalation matrix.
Drive response rates and improve Get 5 scores.
Analyze customer responses and initiate proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Management:
Recruit, develop, and retain operations teams.
Ensure timely goal setting, evaluation, and training for the team.
Provide direction, motivation, and training to the team for optimum performance.
Create a training plan for the branch to meet branch growth targets.
Qualification:
MBA in Marketing.
Experience:
8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Business Development and sales, Relocations industry preferable; or demonstrated achievement in relationship-based service industries like logistics, hospitality, etc.
