Expert End-to-End Physical Design Engineer

A key member of our engineering team, the End-to-End Physical Design Engineer is responsible for implementing custom IP and SoC designs from RTL to GDS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability, and power and noise analysis.
This role requires a deep understanding of the physical design flow, including synthesis, place and route, and static timing analysis.
The successful candidate will be able to verify and sign off designs using formal equivalence verification, static timing analysis, and reliability verification.
In addition, they will analyze results and make recommendations to fix violations for current and future product architecture.
They will also participate in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies and flow automation.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with end-to-end SD flow - synthesis to GDS using industry standard EDA tool.
A good understanding of timing methodology, constraints building, floorplanning concepts, and integration of hierarchical design is required.
Experience with multiple power domains designs and LV flow is highly desirable.
- B.Tech with 3+ years or M.Tech with 2+ Years of experience with end-to-end SD flow - synthesis to GDS using industry standard EDA tool.
- Good understanding of timing methodology, constraints building, floorplanning concepts, and integration of hierarchical design.
- Experience with multiple power domains designs and LV flow.
