Job Title: Market Risk Professional

As a seasoned risk management professional, you will be responsible for managing specialized risk management functions within the Enterprise Risk Management practice of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and guidelines on monitoring Treasury, Investment, ALM, and Liquidity risk.
  • Value Treasury portfolios, including Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and other assets, to ensure optimal portfolio performance.
  • Provide independent mid-office support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, and hedge effectiveness to stakeholders.
  • Implement and calculate Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds to inform investment decisions.
  • Monitor limits related to treasury activities according to internal and regulatory policies to prevent potential risks.
  • Reconcile MTM with counterparty banks for derivatives deals and make/respond margin calls via CSA arrangement to minimize losses.
  • Prepare Regulatory and internal reports and Board notes for accurate and timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Enhance methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like PFE, CVA, etc., to improve risk assessment accuracy.
  • Review new products related to Market risk and provide risk mitigation controls to protect the organization's interests.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and simulate LCR/ NSFR to ensure liquidity and funding requirements are met.
  • Robustly monitor and report on Maturity of ALM products to inform strategic decisions.
  • Set limits for MAL/SAL using statistical modeling techniques to manage risk effectively.
  • Generate Interest rate risk on bank's book basis IRRBB or via Sensitivity Report analysis like NII and EVE to assess potential risks.
  • Understand Behavioral studies of ALM products to inform investment decisions.
  • Implement experience of ALM / Market Risk system from end to end to streamline operations.
  • Pricing and Hedging of banking products across asset classes (Rates, FX, Bonds) to optimize returns.
  • Well-versed with Stress testing of Liquidity and Interest rate risk to ensure preparedness.
  • Familiarity with ICAAP, RAROC, FTP methodologies, and RAS will be preferable to inform strategic decisions.
  • Handle Audit queries and provide active assistance in audit to maintain transparency.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
