About the Role

Egon Zehnder seeks a seasoned Human Resources Operations Manager to lead the firm's HR operations and talent engagement practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional HR acumen and a passion for delivering results-driven people practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to design and implement effective talent engagement and people practices.
  2. Develop and maintain HR policies and processes aligned with business needs and Indian labour regulations.
  3. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
  4. Lead the implementation of employee grievance handling, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, investigations, and resolution of employee issues.
  5. Drive employee engagement and communication efforts, including townhalls, offsites, team building events, focus group meetings, and employee helpdesks.
  6. Oversee the planning and execution of performance management processes from goal setting to year-end performance evaluations.
  7. Promote Diversity and Inclusion initiatives within the firm.
  8. Analyze employee attrition data, recommend actions, and implement solutions to address challenges.

Judgement - Balanced perspective, nuanced understanding of employee issues, fairness, and good judgement.

Delivering Output - Producing high-quality content for trainings, reports, dashboards, and MIS to guide leadership actions.

Collaboration and Teamwork - Partnering with others on projects and contributing as a part of the team.

Communication Skills - Confident and strong communication, representing EZ professionally, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources from a reputable institute.
  • 6-8 years of experience in HR, with at least 4 years in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance norms.
  • Hands-on experience in managing PIPs and disciplinary actions.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and expertise with MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
