Job Title: Strategic Industry Research Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth, analytical research to provide synthesized insights and expert perspectives on industry trends.
  • Utilize a wide range of information tools and proprietary databases to deliver quick solutions and comprehensive research for the business.
  • Develop graphical portrayals of research findings, presenting results in a customized format tailored to project needs.
  • Independently manage the pipeline of industry-specific tasks, prioritize projects, and collaborate with international colleagues to meet client demands.
  • Exercise independent judgment to solve complex internal client requirements, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with consultants on strategic projects, delivering high-quality research and contributing to the development of customized knowledge products.
  • Build expertise in IMEA-related industry topics and resources to support data analysis.
  • Establish strong relationships with IMEA practice members and contribute to the growth of the research function in the region.
  • Apply MS Office tools to produce graphical portrayals of research findings, customized to project needs.
  • Produce curated newsletters (advanced and automated where possible) and support internal research projects.

Requirements and Skills:
  • A graduate degree with at least 3-5 years of research experience in transportation, preferably in management consulting or research firms.
  • Knowledge of India and Middle East business and economic contexts.
  • Excellent English skills; proficiency in Arabic language a plus.
  • Proficiency in general resources such as Eikon, Cap IQ or Factiva, and industry-specific resources like IATA, BMI Fitch. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong research synthesis skills, with the ability to draw key insights from data and provide basic analysis of findings.
