Financial Manager Job

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting.
  • Manage budgeting processes and support cross-functional departmental budget planning.
Accounting & Compliance Expertise:
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Timely and accurately fill all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc).
  • Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of income tax returns.
  • Manage statutory, Tax audits, assessments, and ensure timely response.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g., MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC, etc).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling with RBI (e.g., FLA return, FC-TRS, etc).
  • Maintain documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions.
  • Coordinate both internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Financial Support:
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Train staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Tally, etc).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
