Job Title:

IT Security Observability Technical Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Security Observability Technical Manager to oversee our contractors who are part of the CIAM and SIEM & SOAR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Oversee offshore contractors to ensure they meet performance standards and align their work with company goals.
  • Coordination: Facilitate communication between offshore contractors and onshore teams, including engineering, IT, and business units.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess contractor performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure the offshore team is adequately staffed and resources are allocated efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with offshore vendors, ensuring contracts are adhered to and quality of work meets MUFG standards.
  • Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on contractor performance and progress to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all offshore operations comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in technology project management, with a focus on managing offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with CIAM and SIEM & SOAR technologies, including products such as Ping Identity, Okta, Transmit Security, and Splunk.
  • Leadership skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience handling a team size of 5-10.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
