Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar/Renewable Energy Support Associate to join our Construction team. This individual will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain CRM records while working closely with Sales, Design, and Customer Service teams.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar industry or education in renewable energy, strong communication skills, and an engineering/technical background.
  • They will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, handling customer inquiries, performing installation quality checks, and maintaining CRM records.
  • Additionally, they will work closely with the Construction Manager to escalate critical issues and track post-installation smart meter applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to installation companies, customers, and manufacturers through troubleshooting, problem resolution, and RMA's.
  2. Handle and log all customer inquiries, including emails and phone calls.
  3. Perform installation quality checks and collect installer feedback to ensure high-quality installations.
  4. Maintain accurate CRM records and prioritize customer service/maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  5. Educate customers on product features, usage, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Collaborate with the Construction Manager to escalate critical issues and develop solutions to prevent future problems.
  7. Track post-installation smart meter applications to ensure seamless integration and minimize downtime.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in the solar industry or education in renewable energy is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Engineering or technical support/service engineer background with knowledge of solar, battery systems, and electrical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office software.
  • Problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, and flexible with hours.
