Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership.

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of production on the shop floor, ensuring daily targets are met. Key responsibilities include supervising and optimizing job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.

In addition, the successful candidate will design and implement layout plans for new projects including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation. They will maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs.

The Production Manager will also ensure in-process inventory management and a smooth production flow. They will coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures.

Main qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent (preferred). A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related field is required.

  • Experience in handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.

Preferred qualifications include exposure to renewable energy or solar projects, knowledge of CAD drawings, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles, and prior experience in setting up new production lines or greenfield manufacturing units.
